Reliving The Weekend

Hello! You know, I would have loved to blog yesterday. Buuuut my internet at home isn’t working. Makes it difficult to write anything (and also makes me realize how often I check my Facebook). Sooo I brought my laptop to work yesterday and prepared this post for y’all. Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone that I was using precious work hours ;)

I know it’s Tuesday now, but I wanted to tell you all how fabulous my weekend was! Reliving the weekend is one of my favorite things. It also helps pass the time waiting for the next one to arrive!

I had a carb loaded dinner on Friday night (a pizza hoagie + the restaurant gives everyone two pieces of pizza … how cool is that?! I’ll be going back, fo sho.). The greatest part of my night, though, was falling asleep at 10:00 in front of Now and Then.

Great movie. I’ve always loved it. There was even a time when I owned multiple copies of it on DVD. Plus I ended up with more sleep on Friday night than I got any other night during the week. Yes!!

Saturday was an awesome day. It started out with a quick hike, almost two hours away from where I live. It wasn’t much of one, just under two miles, but my legs ended up being quite sore on Sunday from the steep hills. Love that feeling! A few friends and I capped off the day with a BBQ and (far, far too many) beverages.

Sunday? Another fabulous day filled with naps, the PGA Championship, and this:

Anyone else love their performance like I did? It made me want to watch Spice World over and over and over again.

  1. Now and Then and the Spice Girls? That pretty much sums up every sleepover party I ever went to in the mid to late 90s. I haven’t watched that movie in ages but the Spice Girls still pop up on my playlists way more often than they should!
