Hi!
You are about to feast (see what I did there?) your eyes on another What I Ate Wednesday. Lucky you, right?
This month, the lovely Jenn’s theme is healthy snacks. I actually remembered to take pictures of snacks this week. And a whole bunch of other things I’ve eaten since Sunday, too. So this week’s WIAW isn’t focusing on one day of food. No, this post is all over the place. Here we go!
Chicken breast + roasted veggies + peanut butter toast, in front of last week’s episode of Teen Mom (can’t STAND Farrah):
A really gross photo of a sweet potato with peanut butter + tuna salad (made with Greek yogurt, of course):
Egg white oatmeal + chocolate protein powder + mango/berries:

Salmon fillet + roasted veggies, in front of Easy A (great movie, LOVE Emma Stone):
A whole wheat tortilla containing two eggs + chia seeds + cheese + lots and lots of pepper + turkey, with a banana + peanut butter:
A (very ugly) microwave egg puff, containing two eggs + chia seeds + lots of hot sauce (like, I drank 3 glasses of water after):

And the snacks! In the mix: carrots + jalapeno Greek yogurt dip (new obsession), carrot cake granola (!!!), dried mango slices, pistachios, and a white chocolate frappucino with raspberry syrup … which was delicious.
Make sure you head over to Peas and Crayons to see some other wonderful dishes! Enjoy your Wednesday!

Haha, I took an equally gross picture of a very similar dinner. Sweet potatoes with nut butter just do not make for an attractive photo.
Happy WIAW!!
There is no way to make that look appetizing, is there?
I keep meaning to buy sweet potatoes, they always look so good…must do that this week!
Your oatmeal looks so creamy and delicous! Happy WIAW!
Carrot cake granola?? Sounds great! I loved Easy A, such a good movie
Jalapeño greek yogurt, holy cow where did you get that beauty!!!!
Superstore! It has changed my life.
I love your eats this week! I have been eyeing the greek yogurt dip at the grocery store lately, is it worth the $4? If you say so, I’m buying it next week;) I just need a little push!
Also, peanut butter with sweet potato??? Never heard of it, but I think I should try it!
Here’s your push
try it! I really, really like it!
i know i should comment on your food (which all looks delicious), but i just have to say i love your orange nails! love!
Haha. Thank you! I like it too
Loving the peanut butter – also, the cluster sin that Love Crunch look like quite something! How is the granola? Is it worth the price?
It is a little expensive … but I think it’s worth it! The taste isn’t too overwhelming. It’s juuuuust sweet enough!
As much as I love sweet potatoes – I cannot believe i have never eaten one with peanut butter. That sounds like a delicious combination!
Ohhhh Lauren. Get on it, girl! I delayed trying it for a long time. So glad I finally tried it … super delicious!
Those oats look freaking awesome – I want some mango and berries on top of mine pretty please! OMG teen mom don’t even get me on that rant lol can’t stand Farrah or Amber really. They are both sort of selfish or crazy. I’m a Maci fan because she actually really cares for her son.
I’ve been wanting to see Easy A for a while now– thanks for the reminder! Sweet potatoes with pb is my favorite thing to eat lately
OMG is Farrah not the craziest girl to ever be on that show? She’s so impulsive I think she could probably be diagnosed with something.
Um, I love ALL your food. We could be roommates.
She drives me mental. She’s so ungrateful and rude. Drives me BANANAS.
I Can’t eat eggs without hot sauce now:) as always, your meals look so delicious!
I absolutely adore that carrot cake granola! I picked it up from the U.S. when i was over and wish id bought more than the one bag
it barely lasted any time! I cant find anywhere that will ship it over to me either wah!
Loving the look of your egg white oatmeal too..mine never looks as thick and luxurious as that.
So many interersting snack choices!! Also definitely props on actually photographing your snacks. They’re the hardest to remember!
sweet potato + peanut butter is probably the best way to eat a sweet potato
