Good morning! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was the perfect balance of getting things accomplished on Saturday (including a two mile run!) and doing absolutely nothing yesterday. The lazy time was wonderful. So wonderful, that my motivation is lacking today and I’m stuck in weekend mode. My brain already wants it to be next Saturday, so I can be grilling burgers and having drinks with friends on my balcony. Sigh. Here’s hoping the week goes fast ( …and now that I’ve said that, I’ve guaranteed it will drag, right?). And while I’m hoping for things, I’ve also crossed my fingers that the sun comes out for the weekend. The forecast is glooooomy. What’s the weather like where you are?
Lately, I feel like Queen Procrastinator.
My kitchen is practically empty. Since I don’t want to get up and look to see what’s happening in there … I think I can safely guess that the only vegetables I have are of the frozen variety. There might be part of an onion in my crisper, but that’s it. Since I am blogging at the dining table next to my fruit bowl, I can see that it’s empty as well. And I know I ate the last two eggs for breakfast on Friday. Those three things are major staples of my diet. Part of me wants to go grocery shopping … another (much larger, much lazier) part wants to put it off and see how I can survive the week
I made a list yesterday of things I need to clean in my apartment. It’s a lengthy list … one I should have started shortly after putting the pen down. But then Notting Hill was on. #chickflickaddict
And then The Tony Awards were on. #theatregeek

And then Girls was on. #duh
So, that got put off. I tell you, procrastination is taking over guys. I’m not usually like this!
What is something you procrastinate a lot? I’m not a big “put it off-er” … but laundry doesn’t usually get done until I have absolutely nothing left to wear

I’m a big laundry and food shopping procrastinator too… Both of those things are so tedious for me. My poor husband ends up doing it half the time because he knows I’ll end up putting it off for days!
I definitely procrastinate about grocery shopping. My fridge and freezer was bare until I did a quick shop on Saturday and even then I forgot some important stuff – like eggs (which I eat every day for breakfast!).
I’m not sure we get ‘Girls’ here, though I’ve heard talk of it on Twitter…. I don’t mind chick flicks, but they depress me!

I would love this week to go fast as well — here’s hoping!
Ah join the club. In school I was never a procrastinator but now that it is actually real world stuff, man I suck at just getting it done. I go until I have absolutely nothing left to eat to go grocery shopping. #broke
I’m a huge procrastinator when it comes to grocery shopping! I don’t know why, I love doing it but I no longer have one in walking distance and driving to one seems like such effort!
*whispers* changing the sheets
I always put off doing my laundry… rock bottom is when I start using bikini bottoms as underwear :/ In general, I procrastinate when it comes to any task that is either tedious or requires a lot of effort. I’m pretty good about groceries though. I hate coming home to an empty fridge so I always make sure to keep the kitchen stocked.
I, too, procrastinate. Sometimes it’s TV, sometimes it’s reading blogs like this one …
